What is The Florida Mermaid Trail?
The Florida Mermaid Trail is a unique walking tour that showcases the rich cultural history and natural beauty of downtown Brooksville on Florida’s Adventure Coast.
As you explore the city while following the clues, you’ll spot many bronze mermaid sculptures hidden at various points of interest along the way. There are 32 of the beauties hidden about the city. Locating them all is a fun and mer-mazing scavenger hunt!
Pick up your map at the Brooksville Welcome Center at 205 E. Ft. Dade Avenue, or download a copy from the website and begin your search.
Choose the 2.2-mile adventure of the purple route to find them all, or if you’re short on time, try out the 1.1-mile shorter route. Either way, you’ll enjoy the sites of beautiful, historic Brooksville as you wander over brick-paved streets, past charming shops and delightful cafes.
